a child is listening..

不知道你们有没有看过这部电影?

《Prayers for Bobby》

爱上了Leona Lewis的这么一首歌《Here I am》

“Before you echo Amen in your home or place of worship, think and remember. A child is listening”

~Mary Griffith

  1. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

"Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. (Lev 18:22 NLT)

That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
    (Rom 1:26-27 NLT)

These 3 verses tell us that gay activities or homosexual activities are sin. God intends for marriage between a man and a woman only.

However, it is possible that a Christian is struggling with the temptation of homosexuality? The answer is yes. Just like there are Christians who are struggling with pornography, there are Christians also struggling with the temptation of homosexuality.

The important thing is to learn how to get out of that situation when temptation comes and not to act upon it.

Also, the Bible DOES NOT describe homosexuality as an unforgivable sin.

So, yes, it is possible for a Christian to struggle with homosexual temptations. The Bible is clear that no Christian is sinless (1 John 1:8,10). Yes, Christians sin, sometimes horribly. However, a true Christian will always repent, will always eventually return to God, and will always resume the struggle against sin. But the Bible gives no support for the idea that a person who perpetually and unrepentantly engages in sin can indeed be a Christian.
